For those of you that listened to the first episode of my podcast and are now back for Episode 2, thank you so much for joining me! I’m so glad you’re on this journey with me and it’s my prayer for this podcast that God would speak through me in ways that bring life and hope and healing to anyone listening!
In today’s episode, I give a somewhat detailed overview of where this blog and podcast really started, about ten years ago in my small little hometown. I also share some verses from the book of Proverbs that have made a huge impact on my life and mindset as it relates to really following God and seeking out His will for my life. Below, you’ll find those verses, as well as some other things I mentioned in this episode!
As always, please rate and review Trials & Triumph on whatever platform you listen on and if you know of someone who would enjoy this show, please share it with them! Your support, in rating, reviewing, sharing and listening, mean the world to me and I can’t wait to see what God has planned for the future of this podcast!
SHOW NOTES:
Episode 2 – Fear of Success
“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.”
Proverbs 16:3 NIV
“When people do not accept divine guidance, they run wild. But whoever obeys the law is joyful.”
Proverbs 29:18 NLT
My first fish, and me holding a fish for the first time “the right way” 21 years later:
I also mentioned in this episode that my first attempt at branding this whole thing almost ten years ago including a “logo” with the Atlanta skyline and a goth-looking girl in the foreground… apparently there was no girl in this picture, but now that I think about it, there was another iteration of the logo with a girl in the photograph. You can see the one without the girl here:
The question I want you to reflect on is this:
What do you have in your heart to do with your life,… and what role, if any, does fear play in that vision?
