In the last episode of Trials & Triumph, I talked more about attitude and how we’re not really doing ourselves any favors if we work so hard on that and not allow our actions to follow suit. You know the saying, “You can’t have one without the…. other.” (I said that to the tune of the “Married With Children” theme song 🤣) You truly can’t expect things in life to improve if all you’re doing is changing your attitude.
Let me say that, most times, some actions come as a natural response to your attitude change because we tend to move in a slightly different direction with our decisions. Today’s episode is going to bring much of this concept full circle by giving all of us a clearer perspective on what it means to strip down our efforts and expectations and simplify what it is that we are trying to accomplish with our lives.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
“If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.”
